Hi guys!
In the first week of the trip, we where in France, precisely in Paris and Bordeaux.
So the first day of our journey begin the 29th of february, early in the morning in Montreal airport with a lot of emotions in the air. Almost all of our closest friends was there to tell us goodbye (once again, thank you so much guys!)
After 15 hours of flight, a stop in Chigaco, a long talk with really nice flight attendant when we we're supposed to sleep (haha, sleep in a plane, good joke...!) we are finally in Paris!
So we did our first day in Paris very tired, and trust me, Notre-Dame Cathedral is way less exciting when you've been awake more than 30 hours!
In Paris, we've mostly been in the big touristic place: Musée d'Orsay (i've seen one of my favorite Van Gogh painting!), the Eiffel Tower (but by night, way more better!), Père Lachaise cemetary, Napoléon Tomb, the War Museum, and way more.
So we've have four big non-stop days, and the more ironic, is that we didn't even see everything! But, we're coming back in april, so it's not so bad!
We were supposed to go to Larochelle (a western coast city), but it was the vacation week for the French, so they were no places in the train!
Instead we've been a little bit longer in Paris and in Bordeaux.
Bordeaux is a really nice and relax city, which was good for us after the tiring Paris!
There's not a lot of thing to see there, but just walking in the little streets of the city is really great.
We went also to the Dune-du-Pyla, the biggest sand dunes in Europe, they are more than 110 meters high, and trust, 110 meters of sand is quite impressive!
In the next post: Portugal with Porto, Lisbon and Lagos!

The big trip
Hi guys!
I start this blog a little too late, cause i am now in my fourth week of travelling, but still, at least it's there!
So this will be the english version of my other blog (153jours.blogspot.com) for all the non french speaking i have and i will meet during this trip. We have probably meet before, so you already know that my english is far from perfection, but, i'll do my best, please be indulgent!
Before writing my adventure from the previous week, here's a little summary of what is this big trip.
So all of this started 3 years ago went Patrice and I became close friend after a 10 days travel in Eastern Europe with our school. I loved it so bad, that I know I would love to travel all across Europe, and it was the same for Pat.
So, here we are 3 years later, after months and months of preparation, we finally achieved our goal and are now in the biggest trip of our life! So for the last four weeks and the four months that are coming, we will be in more than 20 countries, across more than 50 cities, from the 37th parallel up to the 70th, from west to east.
I hope you'll love my blog, don't hesitate to put comments and suggestions, it's always appreciated!
